Whether you are anticipating having to spend a considerable amount of time at home and on zoom meetings or you are looking forward to getting out more as this pandemic comes to an end, you will feel better if you are wearing clothes that fit and are flattering.

Here are 5 hot items to refresh your Spring / Summer wardrobe.

1.  Add A Splash Of Color

If you have been looking in the stores you may have seen some colors you weren't drawn to, particularly in the pastel shades.  The colors I would recommend this season are yellow, royal and mid-blue colors, kiwi, turquoise, red and the neutrals of denum blue, crisp white and khaki.

2.   Try A New Pant Style

In spite of what the headlines are saying, skinnier stretch pants are not going out.  They are still the best look for the longer silhouette style tops.

The straight leg pant is still necessary for a business casual look, especially with the shorter jacket styles.

The high waist wide crop leg is being featured by most clothing manufacturers this season so there is lots of variety in leg widths.  They are comfortable and fashionable and look great with many styles of tops.
There are also lots of summer weight pants in capri to ankle length.

3.  Jackets

We are seeing longer boxier style jackets in textured fabrics as well as asymetrical jackets with diagonally placed zippers.  Shorter fitted jackets in bright colors are also being shown.

4.  Tops

There are a great variety of tops this year in solids and prints.  Tanks are a good coordinate to be worn on their own or layered under a jacket or cardigan for variety.  Unique sleeve and shoulder details are adding interest to summer tops.

5.  Accessories

Metal earrings and shorter necklaces, if you are on zoom calls, in gold and silver, are a good investment.  Metal accessories complete the look and can be worn with most outfits.

Adding a few new items this season will brighten up your whole wardrobe.
